Fan cooling is achieved by strengthening air convection to achieve temperature reduction. The advantage of this method du is that the investment is small and the operation cost is very low, but the disadvantage is particularly prominent, because the air is convective. Dust, oil stains, and corrosive substances in the outside air also enter the control cabinet with the air, and are adsorbed on the electronic components under the action of static electricity. When the dust is too thick, it can conduct electricity after being wet, which will cause short-circuit, burnout and other accidents. There are even such users in China. When the cooling effect of the fan is not good, they are helpless, so that they open the case and use the fan to blow directly at the electronic components. The consequence is that the dust backlog is more serious, and the temperature in the working environment is very high. In this case, there is no cooling effect at all.
Air conditioning cooling is divided into two categories: external cooling and internal cooling.
The external cooling of the air conditioner mainly refers to the air conditioner room. The control cabinet is placed in the air conditioner room. This cooling method is feasible, but there are many shortcomings.
①External cooling cannot go deep into the inside of the cooling case, and the cooling of important vital parts cannot be guaranteed
②The investment in the computer room air conditioner is very large, the operating cost is very high, and the volume is very large, which is not convenient to install
③When the computer room air conditioner is used, the hot air will rise and the cold air will drop in the room, so the cooling effect of the upper part of the control cabinet is not good.
④ The computer room air conditioner will produce a lot of condensed water when it is working, which is not easy to discharge
The internal cooling of the air conditioner is achieved by installing a small air conditioner inside the control cabinet to achieve effective cooling. This cooling method is more effective, and there are also many objective problems.
① The cabinet air conditioner has a relatively large volume, high operating cost, and very complicated installation.
②The cabinet air conditioner will also produce condensed water when it is in use, which is inconvenient to discharge and will bring danger to the electronic components inside the cabinet.
③The cabinet air conditioner will vibrate when in use, and the components in the control cabinet are generally more sophisticated. Once the components are loosened due to the vibration of the air conditioner, not only the components in the control cabinet are damaged, but it will even affect the operation of the entire production line. .
④The cabinet air conditioner is generally installed on one side of the control cabinet, so the components on the other side may not be effectively cooled.
⑤ Cabinet air conditioners are greatly affected by the environment, and the filters need to be cleaned frequently and need to be overhauled from time to time, which increases maintenance costs. Moreover, if there are explosion-proof requirements on site, the price of the air conditioner will be more expensive.
